A view of some of the short hedges of English Lavender, Lavandula angustifolia.  They begin blooming the third week of June.  On the left side of the path is the light pink flowering ‘Jean Davis’, on the right side of the path is “Grey Lady.’  In the distance the dark purple flowers of ‘Hidcote’ can be seen.  They line the raised beds that are planted with a mixture of herbs and perennials in the test gardens at Barn Owl Nursery.
