Barn Owl Nursery is a home-based business specializing in herbs.  It was started in the Spring of 1982.  Over 200 varieties of locally grown herb plants are available.  Some culinary, fragrant, and ornamental herbs that are difficult to find are available at our nursery.  This includes nearly 100 cultivars of lavender plants.

Customers, garden clubs and small groups are welcome to walk through the test gardens.  Visit the nursery throughout the spring and summer to see different herbs in bloom.  Call ahead and make an appointment for a workshop, special lecture, class, or tour for your group.

Dried herbs and flowers harvested from the nursery's gardens, or picked from other Northwest gardens, are for sale in the drying room.  Lavender flowers are sold fresh and dried during the season and are the largest harvest at the nursery.

During the 7 months that the nursery is open, certain herbs are featured.  Information and tips on growing and using herbs will be available.  Additional information, products, and recipes using these herbs are for sale in the barn-like gift shop.  And, as always, the nursery staff is available to assist you in selecting the herbs that will work best for you.

While we do not ship any plants, nor are we a mail order service, our nursery and gift shop are open as indicated by the hours to the left.  Please stop by!
